Ice Maker Not Working

Model Number: GS5SHAXNB00 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 1 - 5 years

I changed the water filter for the refrigerator. Since then, there is water available at the in door dispenser. However, the ice maker has quit producing ice. It is controlled by infrared sensor which appears to be operating, however, the unit is not producing ice.
