I have a side by side Amana refridgerator, model # ASD2626HEW, it is llittle over 3 years old. The fridge side is too cold that is freezing up the foods, but the freezer side works fine. I've set the temperature control to 2 but it's still too cold. I tried cleaning the condenser coils and defrosted the whole refridgerator but it didn't help. Anyone have any suggestion? Thank you.

Check the damper going between the freezer & frig sides it's probably stuck open.

Did anyone come up with a fix for this yet? I have a customer with the same problem and don't want to start swapping parts. The air damper is open, but not stuck. I'm suspecting the jazz board or a thermistor. Any help?

You might have refrigeration problems, measure the freezer temperature and post.

Freezer side is fine at 0 degrees. The damper is being told to stay open.
FF side gets down to 10 degrees.
Just contacted the customer and it's working fine right now, so it's an intermittant problem.
I suspect he will be calling back.

I would check the thermister resistance at the control board, or just replace it, might be interrmittant.
