My freezer is icing up and I'm having trouble locating the defrost timer to check it. I understand that is the first step from reading other threads. Any help on locating this part on my model would be appreciated. Thanks!

Your is electronic. Your problem is most likely the defrost thermostat. If you take your icemaker out, and remove the all the ice from the coil, with hot water, or a blow dryer, the defrost thermostat is on the top right side of the coil. It is about the size of a quarter, and has 2 wires coming out of it. That seems to be ther only problem with that refrigerator. Sometimes you can look at the top of the defrost thermostat, and you can see the top is pushing out. If you defrost the coil, it will cool fine for about 4 to 5 days, till you get your part.
