I have an LG refridgerator with a bottom freezer. The water that feeds into our icemaker will not shut off. If you turn the icemaker switch off the water will shut off. I don't know for sure which part is bad.
1) Is the icemaker failing to 'tell' the water valve to shut off or
2) Is the icemaker 'telling' the water valve to shut off but the valve is faulty?
What tests can I do to ensure the correct part is fixed?
