Icemaker fill tube (slants down to tray) freezes up after afew cycles (before ice tray is full). Water supply seems normal. What could cause this?

Thaw the line and stick 115 volts to the water solenoid in the back, for 6-9 seconds. If the water flow is slow, you either have a bad water line or a bad solenoid. If ok,the water fills the ice maker mold, your freezer temperature is too cold, just change the controls.

Freezer too cold, check the condensing coils.
