The Water dispenser on this fridge will run continuously if I don't turn off the water supply. It will run even if I didn't push the dispenser. Have any ideas?

If you switch it over to ice, does ice come out the door without pushing the lever in?

No, Badfish. All is intact except for the water problem. Maybe it's a mechanical valve failing to shut or a switch? That's what I'm think'in. Your a Seahawk fan. So am I. What a dismal year! I live in the Seattle area.

Thanks for the reply,
Todd

I'd bet on a sticking water supply valve. i used to be a Seahawks fan. although I hail from Indiana.

Thanks Badfish.
I noticed a small blue connector splicing the water line just behind the grill at bottom/front of fridge. would this be the valve?
Thanks again Badfish

Seahawks fan for life. Been a fan through the good and bad. Go Hawks!!! No, the valve is located at the rear behind the access panel on the left side. You'll see it. Where the water line from the house goes to. It very well coud be the valve. The reason I asked about if you switched it to ice was to see if the switch was stuck, but if the ice works normal than I would say the valve is stuck open.

This goes back a few years, but I had a customer with the same complaint. Of coarse when I got there the fridge was acting normal, but after talking to him a bit, he told me he had a ham radio in his basement. Out of pure curiosity I asked him to turn it on, and when he did the water started coming out the door. So I guess the radio frequency from the ham radio opened the valve on the fridge. Strange but true, just thought I'd throw that out there.
