Model PSC23NGPAWW, Greatly appreciate the forum. Non functioning icemaker had blinking LED light, 1/2 sec on, 1/2 sec off. I followed technical Service Guide and put non functioning icemaker through service diagnostic mode. It ejected undersized ice that had probably been there since ice maker failed to perform months ago. However, it did not fill with water for 5.1 seconds as expected. I suspect a bad thermistor.

Water in door works fine. Not sure how to determine if ejectors are in proper home position, as I do not know where home is. (Sounds like I am lost, huh?) Am I correct in assessing thermistor is the issue. Can this be replaced, or does this mean a new icemaker? I am not finding a part number for thermistor. Thanks for any help you can provide, I may get in wife's good graces if I/we can fix this. Thank you.
