refig works ok but frezer will auto defrost & ice cubes are soft :confused: removed autocontrol switch asy & insp looks like timer is adj in clockwise dirct.
could this be a simple adj /// this freezer has done this since new it was 4 months old in a house a friend bought /// build date 12-04

i took the defrost timer off the mounting panel & it had loose stuff inside i took the cover plate off & the plastic timer gear contacts are broken & loose inside defrost timer must have turned on to long ! this was on the elect contact side of the gear asy in the switch
