refrigerator not cold or freezing enough

Model Number: ED25RQXYW02 Brand: Whirlpool Age: More than 10 years

Appliance Parts from AppliancePartPros.com

My refrigerator is not cooling or freezing enough .The condeser fan is not running .It does spin by hand, unplugged.The ohms on it was 163.Is this a defrost timer problem ? Help? Bill

Put a portable fan near the compressor and condenser. If the fridg now works normally, replace the condensing fan AP3120994

Since you have a meter you could measure for voltage across the fan.
If it is 120 volts and the fan does not run it is toast.

Normally the condenser fan should be on whenever the compressor is on.
