Default Ice Flap Stuck!
Model Number: GSH22KGMDCC   Brand: GE   Age: 5 - 10 years

Hello

When I get cubed ice out from my ice machine, there is a round black plastic flap that is suppose to close all the way shut. It is not closing all the way, rather, it is getting stuck about 1/3 open. This is causing large ice and frost built up in the mouth of the shoot where the ice travels down. The flap appears fine but I thing the spring that closes it may be bad. Is it just a spring or are there electronics responsible for this closure?
