My ice maker (this one is in the freezer and NOT in the door) has a small drip underneath that drips into the back of the ice cube tray and accumulates over time, causing an ice dam that builds up to the bottom of the ice maker. I need to chip away the ice with an ice pick in order to remove the ice cube tray. I can visibly see the drip but I'm not sure of the cause. The unit still functions perfectly (makes ice, shuts off when ful, etc.), it just has that annoying drip. Any ideas what could be the cause? I think I removed the unit several years ago (for a different problem), but I can't remember specifically. I assume this is easy to remove if needed but would welcome advice. Thanks.
