Compressor starts but only runs about 5 sec and shuts off?
Compressor is warm to the touch?
Would it be the Combination Start device?
Could it be the Run Capacitor?
How do I test these two devices?:(

Remove the compressor side cover and the start device, a gray box. If it rattles when shook, it's bad. If you have a meter, remove the run capacitor from the device and check resistance between the mating pins, should be between 5 and 12 ohms. If bad, order a new one AP3962960.
