I have an old Whirlpool refrigerator, Model EB19MKXRNR1, French style doors with freezer on bottom. The gasket on both doors is tearing and I am losing a lot of energy. I am looking to replace the gaskets and wonder where I can find replacements. I can't seem to locate this Model # but I know it's correct, I verified it several times.

Ref door gasket should be 1129252 or AP3089920 from this site
Freezer door gasket should be 2188458A or AP3092363 from this site

I used this breakdown Model EB19MKXRWR1 , sometimes the W's look lie N's.

thank you for your quick response. I am going to go home tonight and look at the Model # again, very carefully. You probably are correct about the W's looking like an "N". I will probably order the gasket soon.

I went home last night and re-checked the model # and it is definitely EB19MKXRNR1, I actually took the plate off and photocopied it and can send a copy if need-be. I don't know why this model isn't showing up anywhere. Anyway, I don't know if it makes a real difference since I wouldn't think there would be that much variation in the gasket used model to model as long as they were all two-door French-style doors. Please advise what I should do, I certainly want to get this gasket but want to get the right one.

David,
Email me that tag if you can. Let me see if I can find it on one of my other suppliers lists. Want to make sure we get you the correct parts :0

Dear Nat, I ordered the gaskets that you recommended for my refrigerator but it doesn't fit. I took the right door off and got the old gasket off, no problem. I got the new one on but there is an extra wide lip on the outside of the door that the old gasket doesn't have(the door also has a door seal which was now covered up by this new flap) and when I closed the door I had to sort of squish the two doors together. I figured if I put the new gasket on the other door, they probaably wouldn't close at all, so last night I cleaned and put the old gasket back on. So what do I do now?? I believe I ordered the gaskets from *************.com, can they be returned??

I would think they could be returned as they aren't electrical. I looked on 3 of our main parts suppliers and a few other sites and the original model number does not come up, only the W model. I would suggest calling Whirlpool customer service and see if they can give you the part numbers you need. 800-253-1301
