Maytag control board replacement
Model Number: MBF2256HEW Brand: Maytag Age: 1 - 5 years
The compressor on my refrig is running all the time, If I bang on the control board area in the main refrig. When hit, I think the relay becomes unstuck and the compressor shuts off and every thing works for a few more days. The control board is Maytag part number 67006740.
Can I just replace this board with a new one, or will the new board have to be reprogramed to to work if so where can I get this information. (The board is also the is electronic temp control of the freezer and main compartment, with buttons and number display for each)

Your model # doesn't work, please check. This board may be an adaptive defrost board and hitting the control panel might just make the cold control work properly.
Measure the freezer and fridg temperatures and post.
