Model Number: FFC0923DW0 Brand: Frigidaire Age: More than 10 years
What is the procedure to replace the cold control sensor wire located under the freezer chest? I cannot get the old sensor wire out .This sensor wire that comes off the cold control switch has been molded into the body of the freezer.What is the correct way to install this new cold control and sensor wire ?thanks bt

BT, I'm assuming this 'wire' is actually the tubing that's attached to the control... It's possible this tubing is rusted in place and you may break it trying to pull it out... Try WD-40 with the straw attached to the nozzle before pulling with a pair of pliers... I've had more than one tube break which created another problem; getting the new tube to a place where it will effectively monitor temp to operate the control...
