got my timerfor my fridge..my question is how can i tell if i have a continuous run application or a cumulative run application...i have a wiring harness attached to the old timer and i could just duplicate the connections of which colored wire to its matching number on the new timer..the only problem is there is another short black wire called the timer motor lead on the new timer..it goes onto terminal 1 or 2 depending which type of run application my fridge has...can i try one terminal and if that doesnt work then try the other or could i damage the timer..instructions also say that the unit will not work if it is in defrost mode...how do you know if it is indefrost modeand does that mean it wont work initially or never..how do i get it out of defrost mode if necessary
ps i dont have a schematic for this fridge...thanks neal
