Refridgerator/Freezer model # GS6SHAXMB00 and it has the infrared eye for detecting if ice is in the hopper. The unit is only a couple of years old and at one time it made ice find, however, now it doesn't make any. I have water hooked up to it and the water dispenser on the door works find for filling up a glass of water, however, no ice is produced. I tried switching the cylanoid wires but no luck. Should there be a light in the eye that glows? Currently there is nothing. I have poured water in the tray and will know this evening if it is harvesting.
