I have a 13 year old Frigidaire refrigerator. I'm unable to get water or ice cubes to dispense. Both of these stopped at the same time. The ice maker works fine. I have replaced the micro switch behind the actuator knob, visually checked the micro switches on the front controls, checked the drain on the inside bottom of the freezer, checked the filter but didn't have new one, and replaced & cleaned out the ice tray. Still no water or ice cubes dispensing.
Could it be ? The heater motor that opens the flap for release of cubes?, The motor that turns & forwards the ice cubes toward grinder & release?. What operates both of these controls? I'm going to try and look at back of refrigerator to check out water inlet.
