Freezer not cold
 

Hi,

I moved into a house where the owner has a freezer that they haven't used in a few years. It's a Frigidaire MFU21M3GW1 upright freezer. There seems to be no light in the unit either.

I plug it in and the pump works but it doesn't get cold. I left it going all night. Any recommendations of where to start to troubleshoot this problem?

I have found when freezers sit for a long period of time they develop leaks in the sealed system in which case the average Joe wouldn't be able to troubleshoot a sealed system This is also an R12 system it's pretty old and probably not worth screwin with
