Model Number: CA21DMDRWH Brand: GE Age: More than 10 years
The door on my upright GE freezer does not form a vacuum when closed. The gasket is loose on the bottom of the door. I have tried to put it back in it's "track" but cannot seem to do so. I had a repair technician out before and I believe he was able to get it back to where it sealed, but this did not last. What does this mean?

I'm going to guess that something along the botton of the seal(or sealing surface is STICKY, and pulling the seal out of the door, Clean it all up, reinstall the seal correctly and you should be all set!!!
