The freezer is not making ice and i dont see a knob anywhere to adjust the settings. I have the same fridge downstairs but it works fine. The upstairs where it was was locked up and boiling hot all summer but it wasnt being used so its not like it was being opened and closed.

Here are your parts

Temperature should be controlled by the knob (Item 301 in section 3)

First determine if the compressor is running. You usually can hear it, also it should be warm and vibrating.
If it is not running it may be a thermostat problem.

If it is running remove the cover from the back of the freezer so you can see the coils.

Check that the evaporator fan is running.

If they only have frost in one area, usually where the freon enters the coils or it is very blotchy then low freon may be the problem.

If they are heavily frosted/iced up you have a defrost problem.
