When I open the fridg door, the power relay in the back control pc board W10135090 starts chattering. Fridg works normally except the control panel lights fail to work, but the door switch is ok. If I remove the switch entirely, it still chatters. Hope someone has seen this before.

I am going to replace the control board. I tried spraying the board with non-residue cleaner but no change. I suspect it might be a wiring problem but failed to see any connector problems. Replacing relays usually will not fix this type of problem. Will inform you if the new control board fixed the problem. As a side issue, the adaptive defrost counts the door closings, and with a lot of closings like that, it will probably defrost more frequently.

I have fixed mine on the back of the board the circuit line from the middle prong on the relay to its connection was burnt. I soldered a wire from each terminal using the solder on the connections worked like a charm.I will be getting a surge protector today. I got this fix off of fixya.com pyro44922 has some great pics.
