First thing to do is, unplug the power cord or shut the power off to the refrigerator

To access the door flapper :

Remove the drip grill from the dispenser.

Along the bottom edge of the dispenser panel you'll find two slots.

Use the grill as a pad or pivot point, and with a large flat bladed screw driver pry out on the slots so the panel pops out and carefully push down on the panel.

Diconnect the wire harness from the switch assembly and set the panel aside,out of the way.

Remove the two screws holding the other switch assembly to the dispenser body,

You should now have access to the flapper door and paddle assembly.

The rest is self explanatory.

Reverse the process and test the flapper/ ice dispenser.
