Hello, I read the GE Technical Service guide to troubleshoot this refrigerator. Publication #31-9072. Specifically the diagnostics section.

QUESTION - Where/what is the hold button?

On a refrigerator with single-digit tempature displays, it says to press all four (freezer/frig cooler/warmer) buttons simultaneously to enter the "diagnostics mode". Okay, no problem. Then it says to enter the diagnostic code. (ex. 0-2 to test main board communications). Okay, no problem.

Here is where the problem lies. It then says to "press the hold button for 3 seconds to begin the test". I cannot find/intrepret the "hold" button. QUESTION - Where/what is the hold button?
