Fridge & Freezer Cycle Cold To Warm Back To Cold

Model Number: SCD23VW Brand: Amana Age: 5 - 10 years

My Side By Side Cycles From Cold To Warm And Back To Cold About Every Eight Hours. Temps Range From 38 Deg. To 60 Deg. In Fridge, And 2 Deg. To 40 Deg. In Freezer. Ice Freezes Then Thaws And Refreezes Again Over And Over.
Is This An Thermostat Control Problem, Or Does It Need To Be Recharged. When It Cuts Out, I Have No Air Blowing In Either Side.

You might have a shorted defrost thermostat. I would just order a new one.Look it up by clicking on your model # above. Also, is your freezer at least half full of stuff?
