Default Samsung RS2630WW Fan Noise
Model Number: Samsung RS2630WW   Brand: -other-   Age: 1 - 5 years

I purchased this refrigerator from Best Buy for $1200 dollars. My old $800 refrigerator never had problems like this.

The fan (I am assuming "evaporator fan", see the pictures below) is making a very weird noise.

I assumed that this noise was caused by the fins of the fan clipping the plastic housing.
I have tried cutting a lot off of the fan fins to prevent this, but the noise still occurs.
It does not occur the entire time. Sometimes it occurs in short bursts, other time it just keeps going.
The entire build of this refrigerator is cheap. The plastic is very bendable and the fan is not securely on the "axle".

Any help/suggestions would be very helpful!

Thank you,
Brandon

After trying and cutting the fins of the fan to prevent it from striking the housing and causing a sleep-awaking noise, I decided to unplug the fan.

4 hours later, the doors were burning hot. I opened it up and everything was extremely hot. I plugged the fan back in now. I hope the refrigerator did not suffer permanent damage.
