Ok, i'm at the point of ordering the new part which is a defroster heating element. So when I get to the parts ordering page I zero in on the exact one but now it says:
Defrost heater kit - *Note* Redesigned heater kit now uses two heating elements to give a better defrost cycle. It replaces the single element that was used on some models

Upon looking closer I see extra plugs in the new unit. Am I on the right track?

Ok, i ordered the part, put everything back together after manually defrosting the frosted over coils. Plugged in fridge and it whirled on and ran like a champ. THEN...about an hour later it shuts off without fully cooling the fridge down like I thot' it would. :confused: Is this normal?? :(
