GE sxs not making ice

Howdy Folks!

My ice maker just doesn't want to eject ice :( There are frozen cubes ready and waiting, but not falling into the bin. When I look at the unit, it appears that there are small plastic "fingers" that are resting on top of the cubes. I am thinking that those fingers are what flips the cubes into the holding bin (but I may be wrong about that).

anyone have any advice?
