hello - i have a 10 yr old GE frige tdx9snyawh that stopped working. a serviceman checked it and said the thermostat was bad. he said the fridge was discontinued and parts were unavailable. however i have located the part on your website (ge's parts website lists the part as #wro9x10040 which cross-references with 4 other similar model #s. i want to install the thermostat myself. however the part has a capillary tube at the end that goes to a rear panel inside the fridge. i need to know how to remove that rear panel, how to disconnect the old capillary and install the new capillary. the thermostat itself looks pretty straightforward with several color coded wires that clip on to the thermostat. i consider myself pretty handy and would appreciate a heads up on this repair. thx in advance.
