We have this old refrigerator and came across a "universal" ice maker for it. There is a four wire connector on the ice maker. The wire colors are Green (w/ yellow stripe), Yellow, Black, Blue. The fridge has the removable panels to install an ice maker but I cannot find the wires on it that I need. There is no wire connection for the water valve and only a three-wire connection anywhere else on the fridge. Behind a small aluminum plate on the back of the fridge there is the three-wire connector (wire colors Black, White, Green) I was wondering if I can just put the wires in myself. Does anyone know what the wires on the ice maker do and where I could run them on the fridge to hook this thing up? :)
