how can you tell on the compressor which is the common, start and run terminals?
the wiring print don't show the terminals on the compress, the top one is common and the two on the bottom are which one is run?

The common pin gets the klixon overload item. The start device has two, round output pins and usually one input pin., unless you must wire a in run capacitor.This input pin is wired internally to the run compressor pin with zero ohms. This same input pin is wired to the start device which has an initial ohms of 4- 10 ohms and is connected to the start pin. You can also measure the resistance between each compressor pin to the common pin. The higher resistance pin is the start winding, however, some new compressors have the same resistance!
