Water supply for Frigidaire fridge - how to deal with?
Hi everyone,
So my previous Frigidaire has died, and they are bringing me a brand new one. Here's the question. I have the water supply going to the icemaker right now. When I pull out the fridge, I see no valves in the back going into the wall... so I have no way of stopping the water. The stipulation from the store is that the fridge has to be disconnected. What should I do? I am not 100% certain where the overall apartment water stop is......... is there perhaps something I can screw into the existing water line to stop water leaking while they replace the fridge? It looked a bit like a cable modem valve (I couldn't take it off to look cause water started coming out), so I thought of screwing in a male to male cable modem (RG-8 / UHF) .. something like this: ![]() I'm not sure if that works. Any opinions appreciated... Thanks, -j |
