My stand alone ice maker stopped working one day. The repair man said it needed to be cleaned but was able to get it working again until we could order the cleaning solution. When I got the solution 4 days later and cleaned it as instructed... 3 times... but I can't get it to start working again. Is there a step I'm missing?

Any help would be great!

Try this,

Turn the unit off or unplug the power cord for 5-10 minutes.

Turn on the unit and start the machine and observe what happens.

The first 5 to 7 minutes is a "Flush" mode.

It fills, actually over fills then drains and should start the ice making process after that.

There should be a batch of cubes in the bin in about 30 to 40 minutes if not sooner.

Unless you can tell us what or when the unit fails, let's start there.

Thanks,
:) :) :)
