It seems like my side-by-side GE refrigerator's freezer stopped working last night and ice was melted and other food was spoiled when we checked it after seeing water around the refrigerator today morning. I disconnected the power and cleaned the condenser screen and repowered it abour 8 hrs ago, but so far no ice, no luck. I am a handy person and can change the parts if I know what it is causing this problem. My friend had a similar problem and repair person came and replaced the mother board and his freezer started working. Please let me know if mine has the problem. Fidge makes a running noise but freezer does not work. Please help me to troubleshoot it.
