The ice maker in my refrigerator Whirpool mod # ED5JHGXRB00
stopped making ice.
Water comes ok from the water dispenser.
I made sure the wire was on the On position (down) , I tested the "V" and "L" holes and water come out to the water dispenser, I changed the water filter,
I opened the back cover to find out the location of the solenoid and could not identify the solenoid, I noticed the black tank was super hot, by the way what kinf of gas this tank takes?
Is it suppose to be this hot?
If there is not gas , would this stop the icemaker from working properly?

I saw a small fan there,, is this to cool off the tank?
One spot on the door of the ref was hot.
