Hello,

I have a GE Profile Refrigerator Model # PDS22SCRARSS. About two weeks ago, I started having problems with the freezer and refrigerator temps rising. Within a few hours, we decided to empty the contents of the entire unit and unplug it.

New to the servicing of refrigerators and not knowing exactly what to do, I begin with removing the back panel to access the external parts. I cleaned the dust collected around the Condenser ass'y (item #82) and fan. I made sure the compressor was working...it is.

After being unplugged overnight, the freezer had a chance to defrost completely. I plugged the frig back up and it worked properly (freezer and frig) for about a week, then the temps for the freezer and frig began to rise again.

This time, I went further by removing the back panel in the freezer compartment. From reading various posts, I suspect my problem may be a defrost issue.

My question is what/how do I check with regards to the sensor temp ff (item #241), thermodisc (item #621), and defrost heater (item #826)?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Kiet
