My refrigerator will not make new ice. I can hear it signaling for water, but no water will fill the trays. I believe that the water line is clogged. Please, how do I repair this problem? Thanks for youe help

Make sure the water feeding tube into the ice maker is not frozen and/or blocked. Locate the ice maker and the water dispenser solenoids on the water inlet valve (on the back of the refrigerator). Swap the wires between these solenoids. Press the water dispenser release for a few seconds and check if there is water in the ice maker. If there is no water, replace the water inlet valve. If there is water, replace the ice maker. - The water inlet valve Part number: AP4298908
