My ice maker started acting up about a month ago. First sign of trouble was a bunch of water in the cube tray. Then later on, the ice maker started working intermittently (no more water coming out, though). Then it stopped producing ice last week, and the on/off arm seems to be stuck. Today as I was working the arm back and forth trying to unjam it, water started pouring out of the icemaker. When I put the arm in the up position it slowed to a trickle, but to be safe I turned off the valve in my basement which feeds to the ice maker. Do I need a new ice maker, or a water valve, or both? Thanks!
