made clunking sound on ice and water dispenser now iced nor water works

Model Number: mzd2768geq Brand: Maytag Age: 5 - 10 years

ice dispenser made clunking sound now neither ice nor water dispenser works. lights will switch but no noise when buttons are pushed (solenoids) Where to start. thanks Crazyman

If nothing but lights work then most likely the problem is a bad dispenser control board (#12 on the break down diagram).

- The part number for the dispenser control board is AP4071382

You can find the complete disassembling instructions in the Service manual.
