Model Number: 106.54292400 Brand: Kenmore Age: 1 - 5 years
Seems like the icemaker motor sticks. With minor push on the ejector paddles or light touch on the gears small movements happen.
Is the icemaker toast? |

It's common for icemakers to jam up like this. Best to get a new icemaker, the modular ones seem to last only a few years. A good idea to put a surge protector on the fridg. A lot of these fail on power surges. outlet. You can click on your model # above to get it.
