Just make sure, the new connections are water proof, and insulated. Now for the icemaker, I believe this unit has a "twist tray" icemaker ? If so, make sure the twist tab(s) on the back of the tray and the "catch" tab on the icemaker housing are not broken off, and that the tray does no move too far forward. Hopefully it's that minor.

Remember, you'll need to replace that in line filter (1) once a year, wether it needs it, or not. As for the twist tray, I mentioned that as your first check / repair, I've seen a lot of guys throw all kinds of parts at this style ice maker, only to find out it was the tray catch(s) all along. You still may need a control module or sensor, but check the twist tray and catches first.

Sorry to hear that. The icemaker in that type unit are slower than the average "heat release" ice maker(60 minutes vs 90 minutes). I was under the impression it was taking way longer. Thanks for the response, glad you're doing well.
