GE serviceteck said that compressor is shot
Model Number: ZISB42DYA Brand: GE Age: More than 10 years
I have a GE ZISB42DYA and the GE serviceman Just told me I need a new compressor $750.00. I am not sure. The condenser fan runds about 7 hrs and does not run again for the rest of the day and the freezer starts to defrosst. I replaced the iceing kit and defrost timer about 8 months ago and they work OK. Do you think the problem is the compressor?
