I have a GE side-by-side refrig (TFX27PPBA WW) that has the front water/ice dispenser.

The water dispenses fine.

The ice will not dispense even though the ice "bucket" is full.

When the "cubed" ice button is pushed, it clicks once and then starts humming.

If the "crushed" button is pushed, nothing happens.

I've taken off the cover and notice that the ice door flapper (part # AP3672582) has some frost on it. Note I cleaned it off and it is reappearing. Could this or the hinge that holds it not strong enough and it is freezing the dispenser up?

Or Is this the control board?

Certainly, since electronic parts aren't returnable, I want to make sure I get the correct part.

Thanks,

MEG
