If the compressor is warm and you can feel it vibrating then it is running.
This tells you that your thermostat and compressor start device is OK. The most likely cause then is that you have had a freon leak and are now empty OR there is a plu in the sealed system. Unfortunately, this is not a low cost repair and you are probably better off putting the dollars into a new unit. Another possibility is if when you moved it the unit was tilted to the point where oil ran into the sealed system. After you moved it did you let it stand for 24 hours before turning it on? If not you may want to try that now.
