Hi! My Maytag rsd2200d compressor is broken. i tried to search from this site for the compressor, the nearest model available is maytag rsd2200dae. i would like to ask if its compressor compatible with my model? tia!

First off the entire model number on the refrigerator itself, usually inside the refrg compartment. Secondly you MUST be EPA certified to do a compressor swap.
Are you sure it's the compressor that is out, could be a start relay or something else.

actually, we bought the unit from u.s.a. around 1996, and brought it in our country Philippines. lately, it does not cool enough. we let it checked with the former service center of maytag, and their findings is the compressor. i'll check it again if i pass by their shop for the complete model number. the unit is in their shop.

They can make it work if the size (read the tag on the side) of the compressor and the access ports are on the correct side. Or at least they should be able too.
