I have a Kenmore Commercial Frost Free Upright Freezer, about 4-5 yrs old. It has always been ice cold inside, but the other day I leaned against the side & it nearly took the skin off my hand. I examined it, and both sides & the top are so hot you can't leave your hand there more than a second. The unit is very clean in the area of the fan motor & compressor. The compressor & fan seem to work fine, and as stated, it is always ice cold. My neighbor is an HVAC / Refrigeration mechanic for our city schools, and said he had never seen a unit get that hot while still ice cold inside with everything seeming to work normally. It is unplugged now until I can figure out what is causing this...any suggestions??
