My refrig has manufactors date of 10-1986, the freezer works fine but every now & then the refrig is doesn't keep as cold. I pulled it out and at the bottom one small part was iced over about 2 ". I turned it off unplugged it, ran hair dryer to melt the ice, turned it back on & it took overnight to get it back to regular temp. but noticed a thin ice starting again, just in one area of the bottom. Any one have ideas??? maybe I can email a picture. I know I've been lucky. Is it worth having someone come out and look at it?

Is it on the coils in the freezer area or on the tubing in the compressor area?
