We turned off fridge and freezer on control panel to clean. Now it does not cool and the compressor seems very hot. Light and fan are on. Any ideas? Thanks!

Check the coild underneath near the compressor make sure they are clean.
How old is thios unit?

It is about 6 years old. It is a little dusty but there no blockage. It was working great until I shut the darn thing off.

It was off for about 3 days. But light and fan were still on.

Is it making any clicking ntype noises from the freezer side?

No I dont hear any noise from freezer side. I just set a fan next to compressor to cool it.

When did you turn it back on?
Listen for a click by the compressor. Touch the little copper pipes coming from the compressor one should be hot and the other cold.
