Fridge Warming up! now 45 in Freezer and 48 in fridge
Model Number: JS42SEDBDA Brand: Jenn-Air Age: 5 - 10 years
I woke up today to find my refrigerator not working. All the ice in the freezer is melted, and the freezer temp is 45 deg. - fridge is 48. This is a side by side unit with a top mounted compressor. I removed the top cover and hear the fan running. There is no heat coming off the fins on the condensor coils. That seems bad. Even though it's hot here in NJ, my AC has been on and the temp inside my house is 74. So, the fridge has not had to work very hard. What is the cause?
