Frigidaire icemaker not dropping ice

My icemaker stalls out just after the ice cubes have been released from the tray. As a result, the icecubes freeze on the top of the icemaker. If I reach in and dislodge them, the icemaker will continue its revolution, fill, and make more ice. Is there anything I can do about this short of replacing the icemaker?
